The Great Empire was formed in ancient times and spanned across the globe.

After a massive earthquake destroyed the capital, the Great Empire breaks into dozen different groups attempting to recreate the empire. One of the larger groups called themselves the Northern Faction.

Eventually all groups usurped into either the Brenodi or Jekotian empires.
