holy shit was this page needed. I can't believe no one made this yet. I shouldn't even have to say that anything we put in this guide should be so straightforward and basic that newbies can follow it, even if they're pants-on-head retarded, and any tips should be general enough to be universal and apply to many many situations.--The Buttery Lobster 16:13, 17 November 2007 (PST) | holy shit was this page needed. I strongly urge any and all vets to take a look at this guide and revise it as you see fit-- namely, I want to make sure that this thing is VERY simple and clearly explained, and will QUICKLY allow someone to get a grasp of the game without reading any other pages, and all tips apply to many situations. For example, I think more attention should be paid to early game procedure-- i.e. go out, build refs, build a forward base, then/or prepare for first assaults. When in doubt, go towards the enemy base, killing buildings and building refs.--The Buttery Lobster 01:02, 19 November 2007 (PST) | |||
I propose refraining from using jargon on the Guide. Let's face it, the newbs who will read it will not know the ins and outs of the game and might quickly get confused by unfamiliar terms. If you simply must use such terms, at least make sure they are wiki-linked to their corresponding entry on the Jargon page. --Chahk 08:24, 20 November 2007 (PST) |
