Yup, I was planning on that. One thing: How should comparisons be done? If an MG has good damage for an MG, but does a lot less damage than a Nuke, how many stars should it get? It could be misleading to give them both 5 stars. I was thinking do it relative to its own category only, and leave the damage figures next to it for absolute comparisons. -- Broccoli 07:19, 8 September 2007 (EDT)

I've done the MG's, based on DPS, Spread, and heat per second. I think some will need some subjective adjustments. -- Broccoli 06:33, 11 September 2007 (EDT)

This is really confusing, it needs more clarification (is it damage per second or shot? I can figure this out, but we don't want people thinking that the guns do 1000dmg per shot). More explanation would be very useful. --Arklansman 21:36, 12 September 2007 (EDT)

The clip size for each weapon needs to be added.

Updated the page for 2.24. Slightly condensed the weapon scripts for readability but did not include resistances as I am unsure as to how they work. Removed subjective star system in favor of empirical values. Nickierv 14:06, 9 June 2009 (PDT)

Give Engines and Armor their own seperate pages?

I think this page would be better off if it were split into at least 3 seperate pages, with engines, armor, and weapons. --Arklansman 20:53, 20 June 2007 (EDT)

I concur. Also, how about some kind of visual indication of each weapon's strengths. For example a bar chart or a star rating system. Broccoli 17:31, 23 June 2007 (EDT)

It's only logical that weapons are compared within their own category. Wouldn't make much sense otherwise. --L3TUC3 14:01, 10 September 2007 (EDT)

Heat is the amount of heat it costs to fire the weapon. Separating infantry/vehicles/building damage might be useful, but I can't find anything in the scripts that dictates these things. Like I said, I think it will have to be done subjectively based on what it 'feels' like when you play with them. I'll add the placeholders for the new categories anyway, then anyone can easily fiddle around with the actual ratings. -- Broccoli 07:26, 12 September 2007 (EDT)

It is damage per second, and heat per second. After all, you have to be able to compare weapons of different firing rates. Maybe remove the cycle time figures totally (although they are quite important for cannons). I'm not the only person that can edit this page :p -- Broccoli 07:54, 13 September 2007 (EDT)
