First of all thanks for correcting the tutorial, I'm not an native English speakers ;-). You're right, VTF's aren't needed to ''compile'' the model, but if you don't want to see the purple/black chessboard textures in game, you need them. |

First of all thanks for correcting the tutorial, I'm not an native English speakers ;-). You're right, VTF's aren't needed to compile the model, but if you don't want to see the purple/black chessboard textures in game, you need them.
