A Resource Node is a yellow dot on the minimap that may be harvested for Resources by building a Refinery on the node. Nodes can vary in appearance from map to map, but are usually denoted by a steaming rock-like structure. Nodes can be harvested by instructing a player to move nearby, and the Commander constructing a Refinery over the node. Refineries can also be built if they are within range of any existing structures. A Refinery cannot be constructed otherwise (the outline of the building model will show up in yellow tint).

Rock-like Resource Node
Tip Tip: Harvesting multiple resource nodes at once can allow for greater progression through Research and building

Structures/Vehicles.

Tip Tip: Not all nodes give the same number of Resources per second; Usually those in the centre of the map will be more valuable than those at the edges.
